Requiem for a Gringo (1968)

Ross Logan is a quite calm astrologer that always got his mule besides him and always wears a leopardo poncho. But when the Mexican bandido Carranza kills his brother and his brother's friend there is no other way out than pic upp his gun and play Carranza's requiem with his six-shooter...

There is many things to say about Requiem for a Gringo. It's a very special kind of film. I can say
that the director was more interested in horror and sience fiction movies and it works well as both. We'll see two well known faces: Fernando Sancho and Aldo Sambrell. Aldo Sambrell's sidekick character Charlie is actually one of the most memorable bad guys ever seen in a spaghetti western with his silver teeth, indian feather and fear for black cats.

A title recomended for fans of th Italian western. But after all it's most of all a thriller.
